Afterschool Teachers

Operation Shoestring is looking for afterschool staff for SY 2025-2026 . Our afterschool program follows the JPS District Calendar and applicants must be available Monday- Friday from 1:00-5:30 pm. Applicants must have a high school diploma, and some experience working with children. Applicants also must be comfortable working with 15-20 children in one classroom. We are especially interested in creative individuals who would like to design lessons that will engage our students with the world around them. For that reason, a background or interest in STEM and/or art is highly encouraged. We will begin accepting applications again in late summer 2025.

Applicants must pass a MSDH background check in order to be hired.
