Operation Shoestring announces  Graduate Internships on the Spiritual Infrastructure of the Future Program Fellow!

This program provides practical work opportunities for talented, entrepreneurial PhD students in the humanities and social sciences whose dissertation topics relate to the study of religion, and intends to build institutional partnerships that create a pipeline of new leaders knowledgeable about the rapidly changing American religious landscape. 

This summer, Dr. Robyn West will be joining us! Robyn West is a PhD student at Chicago Theological Seminary with a focus in Theology and Cultural Criticism. Her research interests include education and pedagogy, spirituality, wholeness, and community.

Dr. West will support our summer camp programming and learn more about Shoestring families and Jackson communities of faith. She will help plan curriculum and activities in conjunction with our faith-based partners to ensure community partnerships and lessons are high-quality and meaningful for both volunteer and student.
