Shoestring Spotlight: Virtue Hill
Virtue Hill may be soft-spoken, but as soon as you walk into her classroom you can tell her students love her and enjoy her class. Hill is our new first and second grade teacher.
“I enjoy helping students with their homework and coming up with new educational activities for them,” explains Hill. “I learn new things about them every day. Yesterday, I learned that my students love doing STEM projects and presenting in groups.”
She believes that Project Rise is invaluable to students for its ability to provide a structured space after the school day ends.
“I think this program provides so much assistance for parents. Kids can come home and have their homework complete, and have engaged in studying and educational activities all day.”
