Operation Shoestring featured on WLBT and in the Clarion-Ledger

Our work with kids and families in central Jackson was spotlighted in two prominent news outlets this weekend! WLBT aired a feature on the value of our new afterschool partnership with Brown Elementary where we’re serving 100 new PK-5th graders, and the Clarion-Ledger published an opinion piece by JPS Superintendent Dr. Cedrick Gray about our expanded impact on high schoolers thanks to our new collaborative project with them through the Alignment Jackson initiative. This is good stuff, friends! Thanks for keeping all of our expansive work and partnerships not only going–but growing!
