Operation Shoestring is excited to invite you to our Lights on Afterschool Open House on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.
Operation Shoestring is marking the 26th annual Lights on Afterschool by hosting an open house for our community! Join us as we celebrate the important role that afterschool programming plays in the lives of children, families and communities. You’re invited to join us for an evening of connection, storytelling and impact, where you’ll:
- Hear directly from our staff about the difference afterschool programs make in students’ lives
- See firsthand the spaces where students learn, create and grow
- Learn about the longterm impacts of high-quality afterschool and summer programs and ways you can partner with us to provide these programs to children in Jackson
- Connect with other Shoestring supporters and community partners who believe that united in purpose and prosperity, we all rise together.
