Operation Shoestring is selected to participate in the ACLS Leading Edge Fellowship Program!

Operation Shoestring is pleased to announce our participation as a host institution for the ACLS Leading Edge Fellowship Program, supported by the Mellon Foundation. In 2026, the program will place recent humanities PhDs in two-year positions with organizations committed to promoting justice with and in their communities. Selected Leading Edge Fellows will take on substantive roles that draw on the skills and capacities honed in the course of earning the humanities PhD, including advanced communication, research, project management, and creative problem solving.
