Celebrating Women’s History Month

March is National Women’s History Month and all month on our social media channels we have been acknowledging some of the many exceptional women who work tirelessly to strengthen our community with courage, compassion, and a deep commitment to the children and families we serve as members of our board of directors. Every board member plays a crucial role in the success and sustainability of Shoestring.

However, today we are recognizing the outstanding women who give their time, talents, and resources to ensure we can provide excellent educational experiences and high-quality services that support the growth and development of families we serve.

Help us thank these history-making women.

These women are not only leading community change at Shoestring but all across our city and state. We are honored to be in this work and journey with each of you.

But our gratitude doesn’t stop there. We are thankful for the tireless efforts of the many women who serve our community on our staff, parents, volunteers, partners, and donors. These phenomenal women provide leadership that ensures we can continue to drive positive change so that we can all rise together.
