support
Thank you for investing in the lives of our children and families!
It’s an investment in afterschool and summer programs that give children the chance to excel academically, and to find their footing socially and emotionally as they make their way to adulthood.
It’s an investment in workshops, support groups, and other important resources for parents who are working to create a better life for themselves and their families.
It’s an investment in Jackson. When the children and families living in the heart of our capital city are healthy and thriving, then all of us rise.
our funding
Operation Shoestring relies 100% on the financial support of generous donors and partners. The majority of our donations are private dollars from individuals, businesses, foundations, and houses of worship. We also receive some public dollars from government grants.

Your gift allows us to provide quality, enriching academic and personal development programs to children all year long, while supporting their families through educational forums, advocacy training, and more. It’s an investment in changing lives, and transforming a community.
